Sr Research Scientist I
Job Summary
*****ses the drug supply requirements for potential worldwide clinical
trials, initiates bulk and packaging do***ents necessary for the
preparation of Clinical Trial Material (CTM), and works to ensure the
timely delivery of clinical supplies.
Job Responsibilities
*Interacts with CR&D and CPD personnel at all Required meetings based
on new Learn and Confirm model and on an individual basis with other
team members to obtain information on the status of ongoing or planned
trials. Provides updates to CPD regarding the status of clinical trial
materials. Is responsible for ensuring timely preparation, delivery,
use, and return of clinical supplies.
*Reviews clinical study protocols to calculate drug-packaging
requirements and present Pharmacy recommendations at Study Team and
PRC meetings.
*Oversees and when necessary, prepares manufacturing/packaging orders
for clinical supplies on assigned projects based on development plans,
protocols, and consultation with medical personnel.
*Develop, upgrade, and maintain the computer systems that are used by
Global Clinical Supplies as identified in Springboard initiatives.
Interface with CDM, IT, COPS and CPD for assigned systems projects.
*Attends and presents information regarding CTM at investigator's
meetings as requested by CR&D.
*Performs emergency unblindings for GSSE as well as partial and
complete unblindings for various analyses by CR&D.
*Reviews Worldwide Clinical Development Plans to anticipate future
drug supply requirements, identifies potential supply problems and
assists in resolution of these problems.
*Responsible for the ****pment of CTM to clinical sites and for
ensuring adequate drug supply throughout the course of the study along
with the help and collaboration of CR&D.
Basic Qualifications
*At minimum a degree in the sciences, preferable in a health
discipline. A degree in this area will strengthen an in***bents
analytical and problem solving skills.
