R&D Scientist- Assay Development
The Jr. Scientist will be involved in the development of new assays in
our research team. Responsibilities include: *****sment of genetic
literature, project utility and scope, independent assay design and
hands-on assay development in line with our Technology. Evaluation of
research data, new technologies, generation of publications and
business materials.
The position is geared at a candidate who can efficiently work in a
goal-oriented research and development setting, and wants to get
involved in the field of clinical diagnostics. Well-rounded scientist
with background in several different areas preferred. Excellent
molecular biology skills, verbal and written communication skills are
absolute musts.
Other requirements include: Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, or
related scientific field with interest in gastroenterology or
pulmonary disorders. Proficiency in PCR based-, cloning- and
sequencing technologies. Minimum of two years experience post-doctoral
training. Strong general computer and bioinformatics skills incl.
primer design and sequencing software. Excellent organizational
skills. Ability and desire to work in fast paced environment.
