male Papilio genetalia

by "LEPS-L" <glaucus@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 7, 2008 at 08:31 PM

I need some help...I can't find any good books and nothing on the net to
help ID genetalia. When I look at a male Papilio and open the claspers I
see
three distinct protrusions from the very end of the abdomen, moving up
toward the first segment:

At the very end: a brown hook-like protrusion
Up from that: a large green protrusion with a spike at the end
Lastly (further up the abdomen): a thin dark protrusion that seems to
probe
around

PLEASE...what are these? What is the anus and what is the *****? I'm
hoping
to hand-pair some things.

Thanks!!
