I have a small tank with one goldfish, and lately I have been wondering
whether or not it's happy - several people have commented that it looks
lonely, and I wonder if I should get it a companion. This raises several
questions, including: A. would my fish even want a companion, or would it
just be competition? the tank is fairly small, about four gallons. and B.
if so, should it be a fish of the opposite ***? this leads me to C: how
can I tell the *** of the fish I do have? Thanks in advance for any
serious replies - I want my fish to be happy and comfortable.
