I miss Allan

hi all, those beekeepers still left on this group.

For a few year now, since I took up beekeeping in the UK I have really
enjoyed the vibrant feel of this group and loved the site Allan had. I
have been to Canada myself and seen the wide expanse of different
operations (Purple Gold in Vancouver did the most excellent Buck Wheat
Honey and there was Fireweed Honey from somewhere).

During the years when Alan was involved the group was great but now
this seems to have faded since he retired; all the best Allan

Should we who are left try some form of revival and spread the word a
little? Anybody any ideas? please dont let the group fade away.

Initial suggestion; Schools who would be interested in promoting
beekeeping across the Web? Myself, I know one locally; lets get pupils
involved. Then what about Agricultural colleges - gotta be some
interest there? Advertise your local sales; may be little involvement
in attending from the group but heck, its great to even read about
events being held!
