Earth Angels Animal Rescue needs Airconditioners Stat!
Earth Angels, a no-kill animal rescue 501c3 based in queens nyc needs
airconditioners and help installing them stat.(preferably energy-star
compliant).
Emelinda's airconditioner is broken and she has lupus and other
medical problems and is doing her best with her two female assistants
to keep herself and the animals cool.
she and the Adoption dogs and cats are viewable from 7-10pm in front
of the petco in Union Square (university avenue and 16th street) t-f
and saturdays afternoons.
She needs airconditoner(s) stat and help and foster homes for the
animals she has on premises (most are rescued from immanent kill and
are rescued by police or other kill-shelters) (EA is no-kill).
Emelinda also needs blankets, dog and cat toys and dog and cat and
kitten foodstuffs adn litter (for cats).
andd voluntary vet care or green-power as well due to rising fuel
costs.
if anyone can help, please call Emelinda at 917-648-7070 or show up at
the Petco at Union Square any evening to drop off donations (checks or
money orders okay, but not cash if you want it to be do***ented as EA
is a 501c3)

also, I know someone who is fostering Daisy a 5-month old
rambunctious female dalmation/shepherd/pit mix fixed and with all
shots (she likes to cheww, and doesn't like other doggies or kitty-
cats (she's shy) but is an excellent "somebody is at the door) doggie.
Daisy likes also to be chased and to play tug of war wth a rawhide
bone or billy and also is a big snuggly bed-mooch at night but must be
reprimanded when she goes for fingers or toes as finger food (not
nipping but teeting-puppy gnawing very gently).
she is very smart and would make a great suburban doggie with a fenced
yard and bed in the kitchen by the back door type of one-dog-only
household.
she likes kids to jump up and kisss in the face, but an older kid(s)
who can race her to the mailbox or chase her around the yard would be
better. she is wee-wee-pad trained.
