I haven't seen on of his rants in a very, very long time. I'll answer
this one though, for people reading that may not be familiar with the
bizarre postings:

My dog had indoor/outdoor access and was never asked to come in before I
left for work. He WAS in when I left, and went out through his dog door
during the day, and could have come back in that way any time he wanted
to.
He was 15.5 years old and lived a very good life. Nonetheless, I
wouldn't give another dog the option of being out in the heat. My dogs
all stay totally indoors when I'm not home.
