About a year ago my cat started becoming real picky with his food and
losing
tons of weight. This was accompanied by a lot of puking. After visiting
a
few bumbling veterinarians, I finally found one that sounded like he knows
what he's doing. He scoped my cat, installed a PEG (feeding) tube and
diagnosed him as having inflammatory bowel disease. He said that we will
treat this with prednisone and that most cats respond very well to this.
Well, that was 6 months ago. My cat is still finnicky beyond belief when
it
comes to eating, he hasn't gained a single pound and although the puking
is
greatly reduced, it still happens. I'm wondering if any of you have had
experience with what I'm going through.
