I don't use Verizon, but their competitor Optonline, which carries
everything, but has VERY low bandwidth to discourage binary
downloading, and so even the text groups are SLOW.
Right now I'm using http://news.aioe.org/
which seems to be working
seamlessly now.
If you google Terranews and Mozzarella, they have a LOT of complaints
logged in about them.
We'll see how this one (Aioe) pans out, and if datemas comes back
online.
If it doesn't and if Aioe is a bummer, I'll go back to
http://news.individual.net/
which is quite good and very reliable.
It's not the 10 Euros fee that I object to, but that my credit card
company tacks on another $10 in charges for currency conversion and
overseas purchases....
