Hello. I just got two new 6 week old kitties and they are lovely!!!
One problem is that they have a hard time 'understanding/remembering'
how to use the littler. Most of the time they are fine and they have
been using it BUT on occasion they will piddle on the floor.
Cats and kittens I have known before never had this problem unless ill
or VERY stressed. I've only ever had to show a new kitty where the
litter was and that was it...they remembered.
I was wondering why in this case things seem different. Is it their
age (I think 6 weeks is a couple weeks younger than the youngest
kitten I have ever had)?
They seem happy and aren't stressed that I can tell. I have two boxes
for them, always promptly cleaned, and I use very good litter (the
crystal kind). They eat hard Science Diet for Kittens and seem
absolutely normal in every other way (play, sleep, appetite, etc.).
Anyone have any clue/advice? It would be very helpful.
Thanks!!!
Stef (Indie and Ivy who promise to post later and share pics!!!)
