OT: Swamp Coolers (was Re: Hummingbirds)

You aren't kidding.  Seems like even when we just water the lawn it
makes it a bit too humid for the eva****ative cooling system (that's
the 'proper' name for it).  It hasn't rained alot here, but it
certainly has been exceptionally humid this summer.

I mean, I sweat like a pig just making the bed, but when I have to
clean, it ain't pretty (lol).  On the bright side (and back to cats as
a topic), the mistresses and masters all have the softest fur when the
swamp is on.  Makes bru****ng them a bunch easier.  They seem to like
it too.

I've lived all over the US (and few overseas places), and I'm not sure
why I'm still *here*.  I am not fond of super hot weather, and it's
been over 100=B0 (in the shade) for over a month I think.  I have two
thermometers outside.  One in the shade, one in the sun.  I've stopped
checking the one in the sun.  That's just depressing.  I'm also hyper
sensitive/allergic to the sun anymore (and yet I live in a desert
environment...), can you all say, "Bonehead"?  That'd be me.
