Eeek, what's that?

| It was very warm here this evening so I switched on my desk fan, Shadow of
course has never seen one before and at first he was *very* wary of it,
after about half an hour he decided it wasn't a threat and came back to
*his* foot stool in front of my chair.
About ten minutes ago I picked him up for the first time ever and put him
on
the bed, he didn't struggle or lash out, it's nice to know he trusts me
now.
With the warm weather and probably because he's lived outside until now
he's
moulting a lot, so when he washes himself he ends up with a big lump of
loose fur on his chin. I say to him, "It's no good wearing a false beard,
Shadow, I still recognise you".
