This is a great idea, Yowie!
In fact, I spent most of the weekend building the database tables,
creating test code to make sure I could access the tables programmatically
and building the user interface that will let me add data to the tables.
As people responded to the census call, I marked those messages as 'do not
delete' while I worked on this project, watching as the number of messages
kept increasing (grin).
I am happy to say that I have managed to reduce the backlog by two whole
messages as of Sunday night (I finished late and two messages were good
for
proof of concept).
This will also ease maintenance of the current list, which web page had to
be updated by hand every time a new member added an owner. In addition, I
have a couple other ideas for the FAQ I hope to try out soon as well, buy
don't want to go into any detail until I've got some code behind them
(which is why I didn't add anthing to this discussion until now...)
