I am considering volunteering at a local parrot sanctuary. During my
orientation tour, they mentioned that several of their birds have
papillomatosis. I Googled it out of concern that I might bring it home to
my birds. While I was unable to determine how contagious it is, I did
determine that there is a human strain as well.
Does anyone know 1) How contagious it is to birds, and
2) Is it contagious to humans?
