Hi
i have recently bought a pair of Lutino lovebirds, one
Cobalt masked and one Fischer's lovebird. The latter two are

in the morning while feeding the birds i opened the
cage door, and the male Cobalt masked (his name is Jack)
came out of the cage and flew away to a nearby tree. The
other three birds in the cage started to call loudly, but
Jack was totally confused. I thought i lost the bird for
ever.
Suddenly i found two crows started to chase poor Jack and
pecked him with their large bills. I rushed outside my house
to save my bird, but couldnt find it anywhere. Then suddenly
i heard a loud chattering call from a distance. I ran to
the place from where the sound was coming and found that
the crows again attacked my bird. He was sitting on the
ground inside a garden. I somehow managed to pick up the poor
bird, and came back home. Finally i was able to rescue the
bird. Fortunately the bird was not much injured. The crows had
plucked off a few body feathers from his neck. Otherwise my
bird was perfectly all right. I had never thought that i
would get him back. The crows are really cruel birds, they
get so much food in my locality but still they tried to
kill my poor lovebird. If i was little more late, then those
bloody crows wud have killed my lovebird. Crows are the
birds i will hate the most from now onwards.
i wud be thankful to God for saving the life of my cute
little bird.
Love your pets.
Regards....................Santanu.
