Ouch, I hope it was summer.

I remember when I was hot rodding Bailey up a hill and he started
bucking, I sat the first one I think but went flying on the second
one. I slammed down on my collarbone and split it longwise....

Before I could even get up Bailey realized he was running away from
home, turned and flew past me headed home. 

I had to walk couple of miles with the broken bone throbbing....

I finally came to a house and got a painter to give me a ride home. 

Somehow Bailey had crossed a very busy road at near rush hour!

He was standing near the barn grazing. When he saw me he looked at me
like, "Where the hell have you been, I'm covered with sweat and I
still have my tack on....."

I called my husband and hot walked Bailey until he got home. He
untacked Beez and drove me to the hospital.
