As I recall, your horse needs to be worth at least $4500 because
that's the lowest value they will insure.  You have to buy mortality
to get major medical.  Mortality is 3% of the value of the horse, and
major medical for me was a $250 flat fee but that is based on use.
This was 4 or so years ago so I don't know if it's gone up.
