You got a pre purchase exam done, right? That was legal... Just have
the same vet come check him and he'll say this is no longer a stone
bruise, this is now [whatever]. If you want to ever prove at some
date in the future that the horse did not "pass" his 14 day trial, you
need a vet to say he is currently lame.
