My 8 yo Boxer, Peter, has not shed his winter coat ... think Coat like a
horse with Cu****ngs. However, apparently, dogs lose their coats, not
fuzz up if they have cu****ngs.
He's on thyroid supplement ... was just tested 2 weeks ago.
With that test he had a CBC, liver checks, thyroid ... and something
else (slips my mind at the moment).
No indications as to what it might be ... and before it's asked, we just
returned from the vet for the annual shots and heartworm checks. And
there was nothing the vet could see from the tests, nothing he could
think of that could be causing this.
So, first off -- anyone have any ideas of what might be going on? Anyone
aware of a canine group that's like the wreck (i.e., not fluff bunnies
or completely taken over by that wacko with all the CApitALS)? A yahoo
group??
I'm going to be starting some detailed searching ... wonder if Purdue
Vet school has a question and answer area??

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot
survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable,
for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves
amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through
all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the
traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his
victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the
baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a
nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the
pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no
longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
