Just when you're having fun..

Reggie is fine. I have to go back North to help my Mom. She's very ill and
I
was there in May to stay with her and give a couple of weeks respite to my
family. Now there are a couple of vacations scheduled which will leave
gaps
in her care so I'm going back for probably six weeks. I will be with her a
few days a week and with friends some, too.
We've been having such a good time riding with our new friends and
everything...six weeks!
But I have spent longer waiting for him to rehab.
It will be good to have the time with Mom. She misses me, and I, her.
Talking on the phone daily helps but being there for her will make us both
feel better.
I have a half dozen people checking on Reggie while I'm gone. My
instructor
will ride him, a young girl will hose him off on hot days, everyone will
give him treats, the managers will keep an eye on him, etc.
By the time I get back he'll be so spoiled that he'll tell me to get lost.
