Lurking can be fun. :)

We have to remember that when we post here, we will be answered by
people who do not know us, cannot see our horses or be expected to
know the conditions under which they are kept, and who will respond to
_the information we give to them_.  Sandy gave us information that
pointed to laminitis.  Laminitis is not something that typically does
well with a wait and see attitude.  And Sandy had (and, it appears,
has) some misunderstandings about signs and symptoms of laminitis.  No
biggie - we all have lots to learn.

So some folks got nervous.  I think we also have to remember that when
things get emotional, it's because we care.
