I really don't want to upset you, but your describing symptoms of
acute laminitis.  It can happen when a horse is trimmed when his feet
are unusually long. Please turn off the computer and go out and get
your horse and feel his feet, if they are warm, call the vet.  I don't
care what time it is.  Get him out there immediately.  In the mean
time get some ice packs on his feet. Just grab some frozen bags of
peas and wrap them on there.  I really hope I'm wrong.
