Someone is coming to see Meeko

Much to my surprise <jk> someone is interested in meeting Ms. Cranky Pants 
to see if she would be the right fit for her. Basically this woman is 
looking for a leadline pony for her young grandson with the intent of 
breaking it to drive. Well, Meeko is really good about carting around
small 
children and pays attention to the handler *not*the rider for all input as

far as speed and direction and does stop if the child becomes out of 
balance. She also was supposedly broken to drive in her past life and I do

know for a fact she can ground drive fairly well.  This sounds like a good

free lease situation but I'm having mixed emotions since the woman is from

Tiverton, RI which is a couple of hours away from Townsend, MA so I can't 
exactly just go see her any time I wish. Meeko is my baby and is always
the 
first to demand treats and say "Hello" of our gang of thugs. It's  hard to

know if the person you're dealing with is above board and "as stated" or
not 
and I've heard so many horror stories about leased horses being sold 
(actually witnessed it too). If she does like her, I'll check the
references 
she offered to give me and schedule a visit to her barn. If not, well I'll

still be in the hunt for finding someone who wants to lease a 13h pony or 
14.3h Arab.
