OK, all you footing gurus.
Someone must know what's best to go on a driveway.
I have a slate driveway/parking area that now has some, um, "dents",
for lack of a better way to describe them. Not potholes or ruts,
really, but some dents and at the end of the drive, where the rain
runoff goes, some minor washout happening.
The driveway slopes ever so gently down from the road to the house.
Not ideal. sigh. Wish it were the reverse by the same amount. It's
maybe <3 ?% grade on a long enough run to see that it's there.
The whole thing suffers in the winter from the snowplowing and my
"lawn" (bad description for a lumpy, weed ridden greensward! LOL!)
shows it.
So.
Do I go back in with more slate, or use pea gravel, or something else?
No. I don't want to spend loads of $$ as I have yet to win the
lottery....
Ideas, Oh Great Ones?
TIA.
