Just went out for a smoke on the front ****ch here at my home in St.
Paul, Minnesota. Weather's been very mild, and it's a beautiful, sunny
afternoon.
At least three robins were hollering their heads off, together with at
least three cardinals. They're always around, but this seemed like an
utter shoutfest (good god, robins can be loud). The sparrows were
trying to "chip" in, and it's just an utter cacophony out there.
Do you think one breed can be intimidated by the yelling of another?
And try to raise their voices over the din?
Quite a spectacle, altogether. =)
