Took all three syrup feeders down for service (noticed that one was
cloudy a while ago).
Took longer to get them recycled because it turns out the ant stakes
aren't doing the job--will have to work on that some more.
When I hauled the three out and hung the two that hang from the bell
post, then hung the third on the house-eave and turned back to admire my
work and ponder the ant-stake question I saw a hummer topping off and
depart.
Little critter must have been hiding in the tree waiting for me.
