I just got back from a 3 mile walk up to the local air****t and back.
Along the way I saw Eastern Bluebirds, Indigo Buntings, and best of
all, a Blue-Winged Warbler, a first for me. The BWW was in among some
scrubby growth along a gas well right-of-way.
I heard a Green Heron near a pond along the route, but I couldn't spot
it.
Anyway, it was a good evening's tally.
