Increase in hummer activity

Until the last day or so, I would see only one hummer feeding, mainly at
dawn and dusk.
This morning, the hummer (or hummers, I did see two hummers feeding
together one time) has been real busy feeding a dozen times or more. Why
the sudden increase? Thanks, Ted in S.W. lower Mich.
