I'd gone out to anchor a little more securely a thermometer that I had
attached to the bell post (where two of the feeders are). As I made my
way back into the house I realized there was a little critter at the
feeder nearest the house. (A female I think, a Ruby Throat probably
'cuz that's all we have here, best I can tell.)
