I own two lovely budgies. They enjoy listening to very old music and
sometimes sing along. I have noticed that they copy the emotional
content of the songs and of speech, imitating the emotional side of
expression. Today my budgie commanded that I should learn to express
myself that way too. "Tviu!" What would it do, would I learn human
song in its original self-taught instinctual form? After all there are
the tones of voice and the expression of emotions: if I would pay
attention to them, following them like a guideline about what to sound
like, would I learn to compose songs of my life and of my thoughts, of
my experiencies?!?
