I make wine at home, which is legal in my state, and have everything set up
in the same room my budgie lives in. (Wine arrived first.) Since one uses
winemaking yeast (similar but not the same as breadmaking yeast) I was
wondering if that would hurt my bird. That's the last thing I want to do,
as
he is a wonderful creature and I love him dearly. If it helps to know, the
first seven days of winemaking involve having the stuff in a covered
container (like Tupperware) which is opened once a day for stirring. Then
it
is put in bottles with an airlock so the wine's excess carbon dioxide can
escape but the wine itself is not exposed to air. I enjoy my hobby, but
I'd
much rather pitch it than have Bobby get sick.
Thank you in advance for your help.
