Sneezing

by "Pam Paine" <PunPal@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 30, 2005 at 07:16 PM

My budgie, Bobby, has a tendency to sneeze -- sometimes moistly, and
usually
in the first few minutes I take him out of his cage and set him on my
shoulder. His favorite way to sneeze seems to be to sit on my chest and
sneeze right in my face. Other than this rather disgusting behavior, he
seems healthy and happy in every way -- feathers sleek and smooth, bright
eyes, active, constantly singing -- so I've drawn the conclusion that
budgies sneeze just like we do -- every once in a while doesn't mean
sickness. However, I'd like some confirmation/disputation from you folks.
Also, is cross-infection possible, assuming either one of us becomes ill?
Thank you for the information.
