Before you start buying other foods for your son's CAG, At least check out
the Harrison's Bird Foods. It caqme highly recommended by two vets in my
neck of the woods because it is organic, and thus kinda expensive. You
only
use a very small amount twice a day.
Go to their web site at http://www.harrisonsbirdfood.com,
and read up
about
their foods, or ask your Vet to give you their opinion of Harrison's.
I have no stake in this company what so ever, but I was very impressed
with
their foods. In fact, I tried to convert my 10 year old CAG from his
KayTee
Rainbow Chunky for about one month, but he would not accept
it,unfortunately, so he is back on the Rainbow Chunky again. I have been
told that KayTee by very experienced CAG owners that this is all they feed

their birds, and supplement with fresh organic fruits and vegetables, so
that is what he is back too.
Good luck with the food, and happy holidays!
