i have two pet mice the male is white with two gray/brown spots and a
female, she is all white and i have them housed in the same tank. my
female mouse was pregnant and it had a baby but it only had one and it
came out kinda gray and black all over. before my female was pregnant
i had noticed something that looked like a rat running around near the
tank. and last night i was woken up by some very loud squeeking noises
so i checked up on the mouses and i saw a brown mose running around
chasing the female, at first i thought it was the baby but he is
bearly 14 days old and he hasnt opend his eyes so it couldnt be him.
wen he ran in one of the tubes i got a good look at it and it was a
rat but it was as big as the mouse. i got rid of it and now im
wondering if the rat is the one that got my mouse pregnant because the
baby is the same color as the rat. so now that you know the whole
story can some one tell me if its possible for a rat to get a mouse
pregnant? and if so is it safe to keep it?
