Mine use pieces to try and block up the vent holes in the nestbox 'roof'
(a
large upturned plantpot) - they aren't as daft as they seem!
(I use a plantpot because I find that condensation is a problem both in
winter and summer from their breathing - often bedding used to be stuck to
the insides of the box, a plantpot has several holes already made at the
top, and a manmade mouse sized hole at the bottom!)
