Over my dead body I would box myself in like that. When I was a kid at
home our neighbors were asshole asocials who had 2 dogs that ****ed
in our lawn all the time. We finally planted bushes and that didn't
help a lot. 

I'd either shoot the dogs or capture them. And if the owner didn't
collect after a wekk, I'd shoot them still.

But that is the kind of man I am.
