Yesterday we saw him walking again, and this time there was hardly any
limp at all. We think it is something like a strained muscle, or
something similar. He is improving, but slower than we expected.
I am happy to say that Malinka is no satin (coated) piggie. Besides, if
he would have OD, then it should have been visible on the x-ray. Also,
our vet has many satin piggies under her care (those piggies are housed
in the Dutch resthome called "knoevel"), so I am sure she would
recognise it at once :o)
Malinka is rather mellow in life, taking things easy. When he plays he
can be wild, but usually he likes to sleep a lot and do everything in
his own time. So it could be that his leg is rested too much and
"asleep" when he gets up :o)
