Yes Sudafed is recommended in books by Peter Gurney (guinea pig guru)
and several other Internet websites (even some vets). Thankfully she's
responded really well to my treatment (3 days of 0.4ml of children's
sudafed, tiny amount of vicks on the end of nose and keeping the house
warm) and is now back to full health! Half the time if you know what
your doing, treating them yourselves can be so much better. I've had
vets do so many stupid things over the years, don't trust many
anymore, if anyone knows a decent one in Surrey - England, it would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice about the Fluimicel Michel.

Don't think that she has any major infection, this is a frequent
occurance and is not cured by veterinary treatment. Some pigs are just
susceptable to these sorts of things and it doesn't usually affect
lifespan thankfully.
