It is tough to see any guinea pig (or humans) slip into eternal rest
like that. I have seen one of my GP go within my arms, 15 months ago,
and my mom and dad dog go within my arms also, and it's not easy. But I
think it adds im****tance to the relation****p when they go in your arms
(so to speak). And that is something that you need to treasure; the
life and death that they have given us to enjoy with them. I have 7 GP,
and each moment I am reminded of the enjoyment that my former GPs have
given me. I am 54, and I remember when my first GP died when I was
about 10 ? years old. I cried and cried so hard. Two and a half years
ago, when Hutch had her 3 babies, I made it a point to name one of them
Cinnamon, after my first one, and they have the same kind of coat. But
different personalities. And how? That is why all guinea pigs are
unique, and special to us.
Sorry for your lost. It is not easy, but if you love Guinea Pigs, there
might be another one that can give you the love that you had with
Maxine. I guess that is one of reason I have 7 (don't tell my
landlord::))
