Yes, I've heard of cheyne stokes breathing but did not realise this
was also the case with animals. It was quite stressful to watch, but
I
tried to stay as calm as possible so not to cause Maxine any
distress.
Apart from the periodic breathing, she seems very calm and still.

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your guinea pigs. I still find it
upsetting thinking about my other guinea pig Josie who died over 2
years ago. But I hope one day I can think about my guineas and
remember the happy times we had together instead of feeling sad. And I
hope that you can too.
