They were devided over 3 different guinea pig shelters, several of them
already have a new home (so I've heard). Many of them are still being
treated for "discomforts" they may have.

Well, I for one am unable to make such a choice. So we simply asked the
person in the shelter to do that for us. She then emailed us a photo of
this little guy, and that was it.
