Thanks everyone. Yes, it is a tough decision to make when they are still
active and eating well. However, Meeko lost 100 grams in less than a week
even after syringe feeding her. I read that starvation for these animals
causes the worst pain for them, so I had to make the decision last
Saturday.
****lintong is a Chinese herb that reduces inflammation of the urinary
tract
in humans. Therefore, it allows guinea pigs to urinate with less pain if
they have stones or tumors. Some studies have shown that it prevents
stones.
