Introducing a new female to my pair

by jock23@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Apr 11, 2008 at 12:12 PM

Hi,

We have had a pair of female guinea pigs for about 9 months now, and
we have just bought a new little girl as we love our other two loads!!

however we are having a bit of trouble introducing them. We have a
large indoor hutch for the pair and a small cage for the newbie, and
we have tried putting these together etc so they can get used to the
smells. However when we let them all out on the floor together the two
old ones just seem to chase the smaller one about. There is a bit of
teeth chattering (not as much as the first few times) but I am worried
they will not get on.

Has anyone got any good tips for this???

Thanks
