I think the best idea is to purchase female piggies from the same
litter. Even so when food is around one will always emerge as
dominant. Blossom ( dominant female) always used to 'snap' at the
other pig if food was offered to Cocoa first. So we used to always
offer food first to Blossom to 'taste' and then immediately give an
identical piece to Cocoa. Cocoa accepted this as fair and preferred to
avoid being snapped at! I used to remove Cocoa occasionally and give
her bits privately away from 'Miss Greedy's' gaze!! We were caught out
once or twice if we gave Cocoa something that smelled strong and
Blossom smelled it on her breath and came ru****ng over to claim her
dues!!
