Hi Megan
Sorry to hear about all your problems with the new piggies. It would
be great if you and kelvyn could get together as he has so much
experience over the years. All my pigs were girls but they still teeth
chattered at each other when there was a dispute. Chunks were still
taken out of each other in the early days but over the years they
learned that this was not the way forward and agreed to differ in
silence with the odd head raising match surficing.. Michel's idea of
separating their territory but still allowing them to see each other
is good. I still reckon you could try and socialise them slowly by
handling them stroking them and giving them strictly equal amounts of
treats on your knee together under supervision. The minute one pig
kicks off, they are both put smartly back into their homes with no
treats. I think they would learn to behave - what does everyone else
think? The different sizes are not a good idea, as I have read for
instance that often adult pigs very badly bully littler ones when they
all live together.
