Hello,
I used to have GPs and posted here a lot. We have been tem****arily
housing a ferret, and I've got some prospective homes lined up. We
have 3 cats, and not enough space or time for the ferret, when I know
some people would REALLY love to adopt a free albino male ferret, when
ferrets usually go for $100 or more. So, if anybody here knows
ferrets kind of well, here's my question. He is a 3-4 year old male,
and has been by himself his whole life. Some of the inquiries I got
are from people with other ferrets, and I was wondering what your
opinions are on introducing this "only child" to other ferrets? He is
neutred. But is that a recipe for disaster, or do ferrets usually do
well in groups? I have no idea, and I know any animal can react
differently, but any thoughts?
I do know usually you see MANY ferrets sleeping together in the pet
store, and they're so cute. But he's not a baby, and being an albino
ferret, would he not get along with the brown/grey ones? That may be
a silly question, but I really don't know! Any info appreciated.
Thanks!!
