So your piggie is sick. You took him to the vet.
He's starting to act normal again and you are sad about that? Or are
you sad that your piggie got sick in the first place?
Just a bit confused.
yes, three doses can help a piggie start feeling better. Finish the
course of meds. Just like with people, a couple of doses can get a
person (or piggie) on the road to better health.
Piggies like to hide in their houses alot. Perfectly normal thing for
a prey animal to do, particularly one who is not feeling top form.
Happy piggies run around like crazy critters sometimes, be glad! :)
It's called popcorning (or being a crazy little piggie) ;)
Okay...I"m one of those piggie owners who doesn't believe that our
piggies NEED to have fresh veggies every single day. Has nothing to
do with their WANTS, but I'm looking only at needs. As long as they
are getting good pellets and sufficient vitamin c either in the
pellets or in the water, then everything else is gravy. One carrot is
sufficient, or your salad ends, a couple-three times per week. I do
hay the same way. A couple-three times of week, a handful of good
quality hay. Others will disagree and hay both of these are daily
necessities. You need to decide what works best for you.
Be careful with the veggies/fresh fruits though..too many and your
piggie can get fat. You want a solid piggie for health, not a fat
one.
