You're very welcome, I hope everything turns out great!

A piggies bodylanguage is very strong for those paying attention. A sad
piggy sits in a corner and does almost nothing, if they are not looking
for
their deceased cagemate. This searching of them is just the reason why I
put
a deceased piggy back in the cage for about a half hour, by the way. This
way, they seem to understand what happened to their cagemate and (in my
experience) don't look for him/her at all; they just know he/she won't
come
back and move on.. Most of my piggies actually care for and tend to a
deceased piggy, some of my girls lick the ears and eyes, others lick and
model the fur. It's like they want the dead piggy to look good on her trip
over the rainbow bridge.. It never fails to surprise me, and they just
keep
on doing it. Maybe their way to say goodbye. So next time a piggy dies,
put
them back in the cage for a while. It seems to help the others.

There is a good chance Nubbin will be dominant in this new cagemate
relation, as the other piggy is so very young. Good chance she will try to
drink from Nubbin's nipples, too *mommy!* :-).

Piggles, Nibbles, Gibbles? LOL. The petshop keeping her a bit longer is
very
responsible; good petshop. I suppose they will have no problem taking her
back within a week if things don't work out. Just check it to be sure,
better safe than sorry.

There's no telling what she suffered from, I'm no vet, but sometimes a
piggies body just seems to give up. They can go on for a few days or even
weeks if they feel loved and want to stay where they are, but eventually
they give up. It's sad, but she chose to die in your arms, as my piggies
tend to do too (I've buried 12 piggies over the past 15 years, 10 of them
died in my arms). That's just beautiful, and the biggest 'thank you for
taking care of me' they can offer you. Ultimate trust, ultimate love. Be
happy she went the way she went, and take good care of her sister for her.
I hope things work out with the little girl, let us know how they get
along?
