Kim John Carr from Australia is the M-nister
for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.
He is the leader of the Victorian Labor Party's
Socialist Left faction. Prior to his appointment,
he has represented Victoria in the Australian
senate since 1993.
Carr taught school for nine years before
getting involved full time in politics. He has
also held positions as a S-adow Parliamentary
Secretary, Manager of Opposition Business in
the Senate, and numerous other sh-dow ministry
positions.
