If we add up enough dog stories, it will eventually amount to data, right?
Actually, I'm just kinda hoping to hear enough encouraging stories that I
can
make a call without much and-wringing.
Beyond the skin issues (not uncommon in Cush pups), we are seeing a little
bit of recurrence of his leakage issues as well as some hind-end weakness,
so we're due for a work-up anyways. I am really, really hoping that his
Tennessee panel comes back fine and urine specific gravity is in the
normal
range as well, because Lysodren (need to check with the endocrinologist on
whether Trilostane is an option) is the next possible step, and I really
don't want to go there unless absolutely necessary. He is not exactly a
sick dog, and I don't really want to have to put him through a protocol
that
makes him ill before making him better.
I was also hoping to get a consult in with the holistic vet so that I can
talk to the regular vet about those options as well (figures that just for
this week, they have weird hours and are closed today and open for a short
time only tomorrow).

gruesome twosome with broken ribs and out of control
troubled dogs, who COULD BE NORMAL within ONE WEEK,
if they'd simply learn to STOP HURTING THEIR DOGS to
train them.
The following accounts are reprehensible examples of abuse:

But of course, di. You always HURT your dog, that's hardly
news. But now that you've got your payback, that IS news,
this is the NEWS that I've been waitin for to PROVE you and
your pals will NEVER be able to hurt your dogs enough to
control them.

IMAGINE allowing your own child to watch
you jerk choke and shock your dog.
> > Zuki spotted a rabbit, and she took off.
Because you've NEVER TRAINED HER to not want to molest
animals, you've spent all your time trying to HURT her for just
lookin at them. That's HOWE COME your pal carol's dog
TURNED ON HER. Tell us she didn't, carol. Go ahead.
> > Like an idiot,
I couldn'ta put it betta.
> > I held when I shoulda let go.
That'd NEVER happens with my students cause they're taught
NEVER TO PULL to force control of their dogs, cause we need
TOTAL OFF LEAD CONTROL, and you CAN'T get that HURTIN
your dog on lead. You'd need to learn HOWE to HURT your dog
off lead, say with your shock collar, but that seldom works either,
cause YOU GOT TO KNOW HOWE TO HURT THE DOG PROPERLY.
You don't. You HURT your dog like booby maida taught you, and
he don't know HOWE to HURT a dog PROPERLY, or he wouldn't
NEED to HANG them when they TURN on you as your dog has
done as a DIRECT RESULT of the vicious training your "expert"
has given you.
> > Zuki weighs upwards of 90 pounds,
My dogs often go 225 and we don't HURT them cause
they'll mop the goddamned floor with you for pullin that
crap on them as you dog has shown you, but was TOO
SMALL to effectively disarm and assault you IN DEFENSE!
> > and she is a very strong GSD/husky mix.
And you're a very stupid ignorant human with a big ego problem.
> > I went over really hard onto my left side.
That's PREDICTABLE. That's HOWE COME I train all my
students to HANDLE THE LEAD PROPERLY so we don't
have this sort of PREDICTABLE ACCIDENT. I teach my
student's to install a 100% reliable instant come command,
so an off lead dog is never a problem.
> > I just laid there for a moment,

BWWWAHHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! I LOVE IT!
> > The pain didn't really hit till a few minutes later. Oh****!!!!!!!
Yeah, could take five years or longer to
get them not to hurt so much....
> Oh boy...can I relate!
INDEED carol levie. You've been HURTING
your dog since the git go.
> My GSD, Shayna, pulled a similar stunt last year.
AFTER SHE WAS TRAINED by your pal our own booby maida
and his COMPETITOR who taught your dog to TURN on you.
> I went down, and ended up with a broken
> rib and shoulder, plus miscellaneous other injuries.
YOU DESERVE IT carol. You're a dog abuser.
It was a month or so before I could breathe
without pain. It took many months for the
shoulder to heal...even with physical therapy.
After the incident, I could only use one hand
on the leash...and with one hand, I did not
have the strength to hold on to her if she
decided to lunge again, even if she was
wearing a pinch collar.
So, for a few months, Shayna was put on
an e-collar. (Yeah, I know...here's where
I'm going to get flamed. But you do what
you have to do!
She was professionally fitted, and I
was trained in its use by one of the
most knowledgeable trainers in the area.)
<snip>
> > I think that she understands,
If a dog understands, they DO, cause
THAT'S THE NATURE OF THE BEAST.
> > but her prey drive is so strong,
Naaah, that's BUNK! That's a lame excuse for being INCOMPETENT.
> > and she just doesn't listen to me.
Yeah, HOWE ABOUT THAT!!! That's on account of you listened
to our professor SCRUFF SHAKE dermer from UofWI who told
you to not listen to Jerry cause Jerry don't know HOWE to HURT
a dog properly. He suggested you read lying frosty dahls abusive
methods cause THAT'S WHAT DOG ABUSERS DO, di.
> > I can't keep doing this.
Yeah, I KNOW. That's HOWE COME Jerry's able to croak you
bastards every time you turn around here...
> > I need to hire a trainer again,
TO LEARN TO HURT YOUR DOG MOORE.
BWWWHAHAHAAAA!!!
> > and go for the refresher course.
Your dog will attack you and you'll KILL IT,
it's an rpdb CONVENTION.
> > Cripes, if I break one more bone, just shoot me.
I'd prefer to have you arrested for dog abuse before that happens,
but we haven't got LAWS passed yet. See where we're goin with
all this, FOLKSIES?
> It's just that I've broken so many bones over my lifetime.
> This sucks.
ENJOY YOUR PAIN, you brought it on yourself
when you chose to HURT your dog to train IT.
> I believe that when you have a dog with a high prey drive-
That's BULL****. If you got a dog with a "high drive," that
means you've got a CONTROL you can use to drive that dog
anyHOWE you'd LIKE, without HURTIN IT. But that means
you'd need to LEARN HOWE to properly handle your dog.
> -as we both do-
Curious, that. Both of you all broke up behind out of control
dogs, tellin everybody not to listen to Jerry cause Jerry's a LIAR.
> -you have to take a different approach.
Yeah? Tell us all about your different approach, carol with
the broken ribs and out of control handler aggressive dog.
> You must be more alert and aware than your dog at all times.
Ya mean instead of training IT?
> This does not make for relaxing walks!
That's cause you're always lookin out to HURT your dog,
so your dog is always lookin out for a kat before you
can HURT her, and THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED that got
you bums broke up... AS PREDICTED.
BWWWAAHAHAHAAAA!!!!
> And yes, a refresher course will probably help.
YEAH? My students CURE this kind of problem in about a week,
often TWO DAYS. It's EZ, but you got to know HOWE.
> Getting and keeping the dog's attention is primary...
THAT'S EZ, I teach my students to do that without gettin
off their butts as they're STUDYING their FREE copy
of my FREE Wits' End Dog Training Method manual
available for FREE at http://www.doggydoright.com
> and it can be almost impossible with this type of dog.
YOU CAN'T BLAME THE DOG NO MOORE, dog abusers.
> You can be walking along with the dog walking nicely
UNDER DURESS of a shock or pronged spiked pinch choke
or "gl" NECKBREAKER. You're a lying dog abusing Thug, carol.
> and listening to you
If the dog was LISTENING TO YOU, IT
wouldn't be OUT OF CONTROL.
> and then, all of a sudden, all hell breaks loose.
Because the dog IS NOT LISTENING to you, IT is waiting for
an op****tunity to ESCAPE or attack a dog or kat BEFORE
YOU CAN HURT IT.
> Though I don't think there is one solution that works for everyone,
THAT'S HOWE COME I CAME HERE TO PUT YOU LYING
DOG ABUSING BASTARDS OUTTA THIS BUSINESS.
> here's what has been working for us:
THAT'S HOWE COME YOU GOT HURT AND YOUR
DOG IS OUT OF CONTROL.
> Shayna is now on a Gentle Leader,
The GL is A LIE. It is neither gentle or a leader, it's
DESIGNED to HURT and INTIMIDATE.
> though she has not acclimated to it 100%
> and probably never will!
AS STATED. IT IS CRUEL AND ABUSIVE.
> Even though she has always walked nicely on a leash,
NOT TRUE! She's ALWAYS been aggressive to other animals.
> I have her heel as we leave the house,
You THREATEN HER as you leave...
> since I never know if there's going to be another dog outside
And that's HOWE COME the dog is always alert for the hidden
critter, cause YOU WARN HER IT'S OUT THERE waiting to
be ambushed!!!
> (her prey drive is directed primarily toward other, smaller dogs).
And has been for over two years, carol. FIGGER IT OUT!
My student Valerie CURED her dog aggressive Dalmation
who'd been in a shelter for two years, in 2 DAYS! Nevyn
TRAINED 2 FEMALE PIT BULL FIGHTERS in 23 days.
> Once the coast is clear,
The coast will NEVER be clear for a dog abuser like you
and booby and di, carol, cause I'm gonna EXPOSE YOU
AND YOUR ILK, TO THE WORLD.
> I release her from the heel...but stay ever vigilant.
Shove it, dog abuser.
> Since she is never far away from my side,
BECAUSE SHE'S UNTRUSTWORTHY.
> it's fairly easy to get her back to heel position if I
> spot another dog.
YOU CHOKE HER.
> She gets rewarded for not lunging,
You think so? She gets bribed and doesn't know HOWE COME
or she'd be TRAINED, wouldn't she, carol IDIOT.
> gets a bigger reward
DOGS DO NOT WORK FOR CREDIT!
> for noticing but not reacting aggressively toward the other animal,
That's an illusion...
> and she gets a jackpot if she ignores it completely.
That's ABSURD. A dog will fight the refrigerator to
find a tiny speck of the same food in his bowl right
next to it. Dogs clearly do not understand BONANZAS!
YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
> That's rare, of course.
Pffft. Of course, it'd be a ACCIDENT!!!
> The consensus on Shayna's behavior is that it's as
> good as it's going to get.
You mean your captain haggarty graduate can't train your
dog, nor can his competitor who "DOES THAT ALL THE TIME,"
which was the EXCUSE booby gave you for sending you to
his competitor, so you wouldn't come back here WITH THIS
SAD TALE OF ABUSE AND FAILURE.
> The prey drive is so strong,
A highly driven dogs is like having keys to the craft...
> so innate,
Like the teachings I rely on to CURE all
behavior problems nearly INSTANTLY?
> that there's really nothing I can do to completely override it.
You'd have to FORGET all the abuse you've been taught
by your dog lover pals, and DO EVERYTHING JERRY SEZ.
> All I can do is to try to direct and reward
> her for appropriate behavior.
BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOWE TO TRAIN A DOG,
EVEN WITH THE "HELP" OF THE BEST EXPERTS IN THE
INDUSTRY!!!
> (And pray!)
NOT TO MY G-D YOU BETTER NOT!!!
Keep your poisonous thoughts to your lying
dog abusing Thug pals. PRAY FOR THEM
to your hypocrite GOD who'll watch you
bastards choke shock beat and kill your best
dogs cause you can't stop HURTING THEM
cause THAT IS YOU HUMAN NATURE!!!
> We continue to train, of course.
NO. YOU CONTINUE TO ABUSE AND LIE TO YOURSELF!
> Good luck...
LUCK? PRAY FOR MOORE LUCK...
IT AIN'T HAPPENIN, NOT
NO WAY, NOT NO HOWE.
> and I hope you heal quickly!
She'll be in PAIN for YEARS, as YOU ARE
NOW, carol, cause you KILLFILED JERRY
and CHOSE TO HURT YOUR DOG.

Thank you carol, for EPITOMIZING The SYNDROME.

Here's professor of ANAL-ytic behaviorISM research
at UofWI, marshall "SCRUFF SHAKE and SCREAM
"NO!" into ITS face for five seconds and lock IT in a
box for ten minutes contemplation," dermer:
"At this point, "No" does not have any behavioral function.
But, if you say "No,"pick up the puppy by its neck and
shake it a bit, and the frequency of the biting decreases
then you will have achieved too things.
First, the frequency of unwanted chewing has decreased;
and two, you have established "No" as a conditioned punisher.
How much neck pulling and shaking? Just the
minimum necessary to decrease the unwanted
biting.
**********IS THAT A CONSISTENT 5 SECONDS?************
When our dog was a puppy, "No" came before mild
forms of punishment (I would hold my dog's mouth
closed for a few seconds.) whereas "Bad Dog" came
before stronger punishement (the kind discussed above).
"No" is usually sufficient but sometimes I use "Bad Dog"
to stop a behavior. "Bad Dog" ALWAYS works," marshall

Please note that due to the large number of
requests I receive, I can no longer give free,
personal advice on problems related to dog
training and behavior.
In order for me to give such advice we would
have to "talk" about the problem at length.
That is, I would need detailed information about
the dog, it's environment and routine, the problem,
and the situation in which the problem occurs.
Thus, this type of consultation takes time which
I cannot afford to give away for free.
If you wish such advice, please see the information
I have provided about my K9 Behavioral Consulting
practice. Another alternative to obtaining personal
advice is to participate in e-mail, chat room, &
newsgroup discussions.

Dear Mr. Puppy Wizard,
I have, of late, come to recognize your genius
and now must applaud your attempts to save
animals from painful training procedures.
You are indeed a hero, a man of exceptional talent,
who tirelessly devotes his days to crafting posts to
alert the world to animal abuse.
We are lucky to have you, and more people should

Have you thought of establi****ng a nonprofit

Have you thought about holding a press conference

In closing, my only suggestion is that you

I wish you well in your endeavors.
